Julian Norton is a chef with twenty years experience in the pub restaurant trade. Specialising in modern British cuisine, Julian spends a great deal of time researching culinary trends in order to provide the best a pub has to offer in terms of food and drink.

In addition to this, Julian prides himself on his extensive knowledge of wines, a knowledge acquired not only from patient ‘exploration’ of wines from all over the world, but also from years of dedication to what he considers to be a personal vocation!

Established since the 1870s, the Racehorse caters for both diners and drinkers, in ambient and traditional English pub restaurant surroundings. Apart from designated music nights such as 'Jazz at Jules', you’ll find no loud music blaring out, or spend ages waiting at the bar for service. In addition to a fully licensed restaurant we also do bar food as well.

Opening hours are 11.00-11.00 Monday to Saturday and 12.00-10.30 Sundays. Children aged 10 years or over allowed in the restaurant.
